CEO Thomas DeRosa Honored at Association’s Brain Ball Fundraiser
TOLEDO, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 9, 2016--
Welltower Inc. (NYSE:HCN) today announced that it raised more than $3
million for the Alzheimer’s Association, including more than $250,000 by
Welltower employees and a $250,000 grant from the Welltower Foundation.
In conjunction with the company’s fundraising activities, Welltower’s
Chief Executive Officer Thomas J. DeRosa was recognized as the
Alzheimer’s Association National Honoree at their annual Brain Ball
which was held on Friday, May 6th in Washington, D.C. More
than 700 guests attended the event, which elevated the profile of
Alzheimer’s disease and raised research funds and funding for critical
support services to individuals, families and caregivers facing the
daily challenges of the disease.

cannot be prevented or cured. This needs to be a national priority,”
